Children's Hearing Assessment

Supporting Your Child’s Hearing and Development

Hearing is a vital part of a child’s language development, learning, and social interaction. Even mild hearing loss can impact speech, communication, and confidence. Early identification and treatment are key to ensuring children reach their full potential.

Common Causes of Hearing Loss in Children

Many young children experience temporary or ongoing hearing difficulties due to:

1

Recurrent ear infections

These can cause discomfort and lead to fluctuating hearing loss.

2

Glue ear

A common condition where fluid builds up behind the eardrum, reducing sound clarity.

If left unaddressed, these conditions may affect a child’s speech development, learning progress, and overall well-being.
